Abstract

This paper discusses the use of system identification techniques to estimate the coefficients of a transfer function model directly from data. Data from an experiment is used to demonstrate that the technique can be successfully applied. Results of the analysis are presented and discussed. Z-transfer function coefficients are obtained using both frequency response analysis and least squares regression in time domain
