Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of surface anesthesia with oxygen atomized lidocaine in electronic bronchoscope examination. Methods 90 patients proceeding electronic bronchoscope examination were randomly divided into three groups according to anesthesia:experimental group (group A),control group one (group B),control group two (group C),30 cases in each group.Patients in group A were received lidocaine inhalation of oxygen surface anesthesia.Patients in group B were received surface anesthesia of lidocaine throat spray. Patients in group C were received surface anesthesia of cricothyroid membrane puncture. Following index were observed:the most high blood pressure, heartrate, respiration rate, minimum oxygen saturation changes during electronic bronchoscope examination, volume of added drug, cough degree, examination time, effect of anesthesia and the satisfaction of patients. Results Compared with group B and C,group A had shorter operating time, the amount of additional drugs, cough and hemoptysisr ( P <0.05).The most high blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and changes in minimum oxygen saturation of three group were compared:life indicator is more stable in group A ( P <0.05).It was more comfortable in group A ( P <0.05).The throat discomfort, bad memories and satisfaction showed no significant difference between group B and group C ( P >0.05).8.6% had laryngospasm in group C,10.6% in group B ( P <0.05).All of group A were successful,90% was good ( P <0.05),70% in group B,77% in group C ( P <0.05).Conclusions There is a satisfied anesthesia effect, safety process of inserting electronic bronchoscope, stable homodynamic effect using lidocaine inhalation of oxygen surface anesthesia in electronic bronchoscope examination,it is valuable to popularize the new means. Key words: Electronic bronchoscope; Surface anesthesia ; Atomized ; Lidocaine
