Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on the patients with minimally invasive lumbar disc surgery.Methods Totals of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation were recruited and were randomly divided into observation group (n =50) and control group (n =50).The control group was treated with conventional methods of nursing care,while the observation group was taken ladder nursing intervention based on routine care.They were investigated with pain scale,disability rating scale before surgery,discharge,4th week and 12th week after surgery.Results No significant difference of pain score was found between two groups before surgery,12th week after surgery (P > 0.05).Pain scores in observation group at discharge,4th week after surgery were significantly lower than that in control group [(1.59 ± 0.56) vs (2.04 ±0.70),(1.01 ±0.34) vs (1.98 ±0.27) ;t =1.98,2.63,respectively;P <0.05)].No significant difference of Oswestry lumbar spinal cord and lower limbs disability score was found between two groups before surgery (P >0.05).While Oswestry lumbar spinal cord and lower limbs disability score in observation group at discharge,4th week and 12th week after surgery were significantly lower than that in control group (t =3.17,3.39,3.47,respectively;P < 0.05).curative effect score of JOA Waist pain in observation group at discharge,4th week and 12th week after surgery were significantly higher than that in control group(t =5.04,6.18,5.91,respectively;P < 0.05).Conclusions Ladder rehabilitation nursing interventions for minimally invasive lumbar disc surgery patients more conducive to the rehabilitation of lumbar disc patients.
