Abstract
The possibility of square-wave amperometric detection of silver, chloride and bromide ions in flow injection systems is described. The system used of electrode polarisation and current measurement in square-wave amperometry allows a significant improvement of the detection of chloride and bromide ions in comparison to classical dc amperometry. The lowest concentrations detectable are limited by the purity of the solutions.
