Abstract

The basic source for solvents search is the information on asphaltic resin- ous paraffine sediments (ARPS) composition, which is a complex mixture of paraffin hydrocarbons with a predominant content of asphaltic resinous substances, mechanical impurities and water, depending on the geological and physical conditions in the formation system and the nature of the oil itself. It is known that it is necessary to use aromatic hydrocarbons and high-molecular compounds to dissolve asphaltenes and resins. At Urshak and other fields of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the ARPS solvent SONPAR-5402 was tested, the composition of which was developed at Neftekhim Experimental Plant ZAO, Bashneft ANC. To evaluate the sol- vent SONPAR-5402 performance compared to other solvents commonly used at Urshak field, ARPS samples were subjected to impact of SONPAR-5402 and other solvents: SNPKh-7870, MIA-prom and Nefras AR-120/200. Comparing the ARPS dissolution efficiency (maximum per- centage of solvent dissolution), SONPAR-5402 is in the first place. In 2016 at Urshak field SONPAR-5402 was used in 21 wells, including 18 wells with sucker-rod pumping unit and 3 wells with electric centrifugal pump units. The results of solvent SONPAR-5402 field tests showed that the efficiency of the developed solvent in the producing wells of the Urshak field is high and makes more than 80 %, and sometimes reaches 100 %.
