Abstract

Experimental data on the dispersion of droplets, their size and number in the air-droplet system created by the technical means for edge processing of the field during the destruction of weeds and protection from pests of crop products wintering in forest shelter belts are presented. To solve the existing problem, the indicators of the polydispersion system were experimentally obtained, which make it possible to simultaneously destroy weed vegetation located in the immediate vicinity of the base of field-protective forest belts and protect against pests wintering in them. When testing the technical means as part of a boom sprayer, slot nozzles of types 015, 02, 03 and 04 with a liquid pressure of 5 bar were used. The experiments were carried out at tractor speeds of 8, 10 and 12 km / h at an interval of 60 m. The MMD, average sizes and the number of drops / cm2 were determined by scanning cards and using a computer program. To provide a rational technology for edge processing of a field with a technical means, further research is required on the use of liquid dispersion by slot sprayers of liquid with different pressures and air flow rates for the natural targeted transportation of drops with the required MMD, average size and their number per 1 cm2 during edge processing of the field at protection from weeds and pests of crop products.
