Abstract

Objective to investigate the value of homemade venous tourniquet in laparoscopic hernia r epair in children and summarize its nursing experience: introduce the making and application of homemade venous tourniquet. The patients with laparoscopic hernia repair from January to December 2017 were set up as control groups and intravenous puncture was performed using traditional circular tourniquet. From January to December 2018, 109 patients with laparoscopic hernia repair were set up as observation groups and intravenous puncture was performed using self-made venous tourniquet. The puncture pain and puncture success rate were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group was statistically significant in reducing the degree of venous pain and improving the success rate of venous puncture. (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of homemade tourniquet can reduce the pain degree of laparoscopic hernia repair and improve the success rate of intravenous infusion.
