Abstract

Objective To study the effects of self-made tube in decreasing the swelling of patients with hand injury. Methods 108 patients were randomly divided into control group and experiment group. The control group was given cord winding pressure treatment. And the experiment group was given the self-made tube pressure treatment. All patients were assessed with the classification of swelling before and after treatment. Results After 30 days of treatment, the hand swelling of all the patients was significantly relieved. The average degree of swelling decreased in the experiment group was significantly better than in the control group (Z=-3.770, P<0.01). Conclusions Self-made tube has a significant effect in decreasing the swelling of patients with hand injury, so it is worthy of applying in clinical environment.
