Application of Recursive Estimation to Solar Energy

Abstract

The solar energy appears to be the most promising source of energy for the next few decades. The knowledge of the spectral distribution of sunlight as it passes through the atmosphere, is the key to and quantitative analysis of the solar energy conversion system. The recursive estimation technique is employed for the determination of the solar energy parameters used in the computer simulation techniques.
