Abstract
A novel synthesis and functionalization strategy for presynthesized Cu2ZnSnS4 QDs is developed by utilizing mercapto-acetic acid octyl ester as capping ligand. Unlike the common ligand exchange approach, the long alkyl chains are removed via hydrolysis procedure.
