Abstract

Porous electrode theory was applied to estimate the exchange current density, the polarization resistance, and symmetry factor for hydride electrode in alkaline solution. The exchange current density, polarization resistance, and symmetry factor were determined from polarization curves which were obtained at low overpotentials.
