Abstract

Objective By setting up the information platform on line,to make it more convenient for liver transplantation recipients to receive examination reports,consult doctors and upload health document,so as to enhance their compliance of follow-up and reduce the incidents of adverse events.Methods Liver transplantation information platform of follow-up was set up on line,and the data was read and uploaded with safety.Transplantation recipients can have online follow-up by the following methods:(1) obtaining examination results from APF General Hospital ; (2) checking the curve of specified examination items; (3) reading friendly prompt and special announcement from the hospital; (4) consulting with doctors by question feedback;(5)uploading health documents from other hospitals so that staff can build a though follow-up file online.Results 340 liver transplantation recipients from Apr 2011 to Dec 2011 used this platform,and a though follow-up file was built for each recipient.8 066 announcements were sent out 8 months after the inauguration of the platform,and recipients had consulted 72 questions.The average time for recipients to get their examination results shortened from 240 min to 5 min,their compliance of follow-up increased from 82.3% to 95.6%,and the incidence rate of adverse events reduced from 11.8% to 4.4%.Conclusions Online information platform can reduce the cost of follow-up and improve patients' compliance,in order to perfect patients' files,help doctors' diagnose and reduce the incidence rate of adverse events.
