Abstract

The article presents nursing technologies in the complex therapy of ulcer patients and the results of the application of these technologies. During the complex therapy of patients with peptic ulcer, their training according to a specially designed program has a positive clinical effect and contributes to reducing the frequency of exacerbations and complications of the disease. Purpose of the study. Improving the effectiveness of treatment and prevention of exacerbations of peptic ulcer through the use of modern nursing technologies in patient education. Results. The effectiveness of therapeutic education in the complex therapy of peptic ulcer was also confirmed by the method of multivariate statistics. Predicting the incidence of peptic ulcer complications by the Bayesian probabilistic modeling showed that improving hygiene literacy can reduce bleeding by 6.1 %, and perforation by 4.1 %, which ensures not only medical, but also socio-economic efficiency of treatment. Conclusion. The study is of practical importance for nurses of prevention departments and district nurses who are involved in conducting a school for ulcer patients. It has practical implications for the educational process in which students are trained in patient education skills.
