Abstract

The purpose of teaching is to improve students’ enthusiasm, participation and ability training. The design and development of network multimedia courseware (NMC) will produce good teaching effects when used in a reasonable way in teaching. In the future, NMC will be the most critical technology in the teaching field. Art design professional teaching requires students’ ability to analyze three-dimensional space by them, and the use of virtual reality technology can meet the requirements of ability training in art design teaching. After studying the design and development of NMC and actual teaching cases, this paper puts forward the concept of the design and development of NMC involved in experimental model making courses, and explains the teaching purpose, construction content and teaching methods of the course. Rationally integrating this technology on the basis of the application of software and applying it to product design teaching courses can better meet the students’ subjective exploration needs and the cultivation of spatial modeling thinking ability. Research shows that 32.7% of students like flipped classrooms, 56.1% of students say they like it, and a very small number of students do not accept this teaching model. After sorting out the survey data, it is found that most students use multimedia courseware in art design teaching, and students believe that this teaching mode can help their learning. The above can fully prove that the class mode of using multimedia courseware in art design teaching is still highly recognized among students, that is, the application of NMC design and development in art design teaching is feasible.
