Abstract

The consumer's prospective benefits are building a superior relationship between food and health. Nanoemulsions have created a better way to improve the quality of food through their characterization and optimization, making food products better and impacting our society by blending into the food industry. Chapter Unavailable aims to provide a clear idea regarding nanoemulsions, their efficacy in the food industry, various applications, and a path for future endeavors. We implemented an extensive search for research articles on findings for nanoemulsions in the food industry, their significance, and impact. We meticulously picked great pieces, analyzed their observations, and tried assimilating them to give a clear and precise image of nanoemulsions' importance in the food industry. Nanoemulsions hold a significant role in the nanoencapsulation of lipophilic functional food, food packaging, edible coatings, food ingredients, additives, and fortified frozen yogurt. Primarily, it can be considered better than conventional methods for food diligence. It has low toxicity and holds power to be widely regarded in the future. The chapter highlights the current usage of nanoemulsions, their role in the food industry, and their need in the food sector in the coming years. Having multiple usage applications in food commodities, specific outcomes are hygiene, proper packaging, and sterility of food.
