Abstract

In this work, we pioneer application of nanodimensional films (≈20 nm thick) in electronically tunable microstrip microwave devices. It is shown experimentally that, when the control bias voltage varies in the range 0–15 V, the intrinsic Q factor of the microstrip resonator is higher than 100 and remains almost constant when the resonant frequency 2.6 GHz is varied within 0.3 GHz.
