Abstract

It is necessary to adopt effective data fusion method to improve the data efficiency and the accuracy of attitude determination, due to the sensors of low accuracy and low power dissipation is often used in attitude determination with the limitation of scientific research funding and power restriction. A new micro satellite attitude determination algorithm based on fusing-feedback federal filtering and new information distribute principle based on measurement information were presented using micro satellite attitude dynamics, magnetometer and sun sensor. The satellite attitude state error equation using quaternion was showed and a new measurement equation about angular velocity was presented based on the research of measurement vectors, which enrich the measurement model. The simulation results indicate that the utilization efficiency of measurement information is enhanced due to the angular velocity measurement equation; the data fusion ability and the accuracy of attitude determination are enhanced, while the calculation is decreased and the reliability is ensured by the improved federal filtering.
