Abstract

Objective To optimize the emergency nursing process and shorten the access time of the high-risk patients in the emergency green channel by multi-department ward rounds .Methods The nursing department organized all nursing staff which were involved in the rescue process , and discussed and analyzed the real cases to find the weakness of the process , and put forward the specific measures and solved the real clinical problems.Results Before the optimization of process , the detention time of critical patients with myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction and severe multiple injuries were (97.32 ±42.08),(92.04 ±43.16) and (85.09 ±46.87)min.Those time after the optimization of process were (79.17 ±14.65), (77.92 ±33.96) and (69.70 ±31.40 ) min, respectively.There were significant differences before and after the optimization (t=4.094, 2.091, 2.403, respectively; P〈0.05).Conclusions Multi-department ward rounds plays a positive role in promoting and strengthening the mutual understanding , mutual cooperation among clinical departments , and optimization of the nursing process .
