Abstract

Abstract In this paper we consider time integration of unified inelastic models. We apply two recently proposed integration schemes. One fully implicit integrator is based on backward differentiation. The other one is a combined explicit/semi-implicit Runge–Kutta algorithm of Rosenbrock-type. As an application we consider Hart's inelastic constitutive model in its uniaxial formulation. We simulate constant strain rate tension tests and relaxation tests and draw conclusions.
