Abstract

Objective To explore the application of mind mapping in the standardized training of obstetrics and gynecology nurses. Methods A total of 60 newly admitted nurses of obstetrics and gynecology in the hospital were recruited in 2016, and were divided into observation group and control group before pre-job training into 30 each.The control group received general standardized training, and the observation group received thinking schematic standardized training.The scores of critical thinking ability, self-directed learning ability, theory and skills of nurses in the two groups were compared. Results The scores of all dimensions and total scores of critical thinking scale of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the scores of self-directed assessment were higher than those of the control group, and the scores of theory and skills were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusions The standardized training of mind mapping can improve nurses' critical thinking ability, enhance their theoretical learning ability and practical skills, and improve their learning efficiency.
