Abstract
The International Association of the Hydrological Sciences, with the support of Unesco and the World Meteorological Organization, will convene a symposium and workshops on the Application of Mathematical Models in Hydrology and Water Resources Systems in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, from September 8 to 13, 1975. The meeting is being organized by the Czechoslovak National Committee for the International Hydrological Programme in cooperation with the IAHS.Attention will be focused on the practical application of deterministic, stochastic, and system models in hydrology; the gap between theory and practice in the modeling of catchment behavior and of water resources systems; and exploration of the relationship between catchment models and water resource system models.
