Abstract

The study examined and theoretically substantiated the possibility of using the apparatus of logical forms of choice, which are used in decision theory, for binary representation of image attributes in order to reduce dimensions and unify images. To do this, we used the methodology of logical projection of image attributes onto a set of logical functions of a special kind. This represents a new approach to unification of the final attribute vector, which leads to a significant reduction in the size of the attribute vector. This approach shows the relationship between decision theory and pattern recognition theory. The given specific practical examples of the application of choice logical functions confirm the viability of the joint implementation of these theories.
