Abstract

LiDAR has the advantages of small size, high imaging accuracy, high resolution, all-day survey, and strong adaptability to complex environments. With the continuous improvement of technical performance, LiDAR is widely used in aerospace, mapping, military, and civil fields. In this study, the principle of LiDAR survey technology was introduced, and the key technology and application method of using LiDAR to measure the initial section of rocket launch were discussed in detail; a LiDAR survey system was designed on this basis. Afterward, the feasibility and rationality of the survey system and survey method were verified by rocket launch tests. The results show that compared with the traditional survey methods, LiDAR survey technology has obvious advantages in terms of survey accuracy, automation, and real-time visualization of survey data, and it can greatly reduce labor intensity and improves work efficiency, which provides an important reference for the design and application mode of LiDAR survey system in space launch sites.
