Abstract

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is the most common mesenchymal tumor in the GI tract. Surgical resection of the local disease is the gold standard therapy. In recent years, in virtue of the development of minimal invasive surgery such as laparoscopic surgery and endoscopic surgery, laparoscopic and endoscopic cooperative surgery (LECS) has been applicable for treatment of gastric GIST.
