Abstract

The problem of evaluation of boron depth profiles from measured spectra of alpha particles in10B(n, alpha)7Li nuclear reaction is considered. Two iterative deconvolution procedures are examined which may be applied to profile reconstruction. Both techniques have been tested using artificial spectra and they were found to give satisfactory profile reconstruction. The performance of the deconvolution methods is demonstrated by comparison with the measured data.
