Application of intraoprerative ultrasound in malignant liver tumor

Abstract

Intraoperative ultrasonography (US) is the very important tool for liver surgery which not only provides the operating surgeon with useful real-time diagnostic and staging information that may result in an alteration in the planned surgical approach, but also provides the guidance for hepatectomy, vessel patency and intraoperative tumor ablation procedures.
