Abstract

Rubber temperature is an important parameter affecting the mixing degree of rubber in mixer. In the mixing process, there is a significant error between the thermocouple temperature and the actual temperature, which will affect the degree of rubber mixing. In order to solve this problem, this paper designs a set of non-contact infrared temperature measuring device to measure the rubber temperature in mixing process. The experimental results show that the temperature rise and discharge temperature of the compound measured by the infrared temperature measuring device are more in line with the actual situation. Compared with the actual discharge temperature, the measurement error of the infrared temperature measuring device is less than 4 %, while the error of the thermocouple temperature measuring device is more than 11 %. Therefore, the infrared temperature measuring device is more suitable for the rubber's dynamic temperature measurement process in the mixer.
