Abstract

The rapid development of technology has sparked a revolution in the world of education and flipped classroom is one form of pedagogy that stems from the proliferation of technology, providing the learners with the technological support and preparing the learners with the information literacy for the output-oriented learning in flipped classroom. Technology acts as an intermediary for flipped learning and as a way to the enhancement of the interaction and collaboration for flipped classroom. Technology plays an indispensable role in English output-oriented flipped classroom and in turn it contributes a lot to the information sharing, diverse assessment and timely feedback, hence promoting the effectiveness of flipped teaching and learning.
