Abstract
With the development of modern exploration technology, the role of geological exploration is becoming more and more important, it is used in many fields. The development of information technology has gone deep into all fields of production and life, and its application in geological exploration has brought considerable development to oil and gas exploration and energy industry. The traditional oil and gas exploration and production technology is difficult to meet the huge demand for energy, and the application of information technology is a good solution to this problem. This paper studies current situation of information technology in geological exploration, the restrictive factors of the application of information technology in geological exploration and the restrictive factors of the application of information technology in geological exploration, and summarizes the relevant conclusions.
