Application of Incoterms in International Engineering Based on Information Platform

Abstract

The current world economic and trade pattern presents the trend of more and more frequent interaction, the global economy is more and more obvious mutual penetration, in such a state of development, the trade between countries has become more simple and convenient. Incoterms are gradually standardized and unified in this development process, and the conventions of incoterms have developed well in different periods of time. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the application of incoterms in international trade, especially in international engineering, under the influence of information age and information platform. The research of this paper points out that international engineering is an important part of the international competitive division of labor and cooperation of Chinese enterprises, but international engineering is different from international trade financing and payment. This study analyzes and introduces the selection and application of incoterms in international engineering projects through specific examples, so as to maximize the economic and social benefits of international engineering projects.
