Abstract
AbstractWith the continuous development of electronic and information technology, application based scenarios based on image processing and machine vision have been universally seen in all the fields. With the help of image and visual recognition technology, humans have solved many problems. As a key element of national security and crisis management, the capability of military unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in target identification have a critical impact on the performance of their functions. Starting from the requirements on target recognition of military unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), this paper conducts discussions and researches on the application of image processing technology in the field, conceiving the application of image processing technology in UAVs field, hoping to provide some foundation for the research and application in related fields.KeywordsImage processingTarget identificationUnmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)
