Abstract

In this paper, heat and mass transfer characteristics in a viscous fluid which is squeezed between parallel plates is studied analytically using homotopy perturbation method (HPM). These comparisons between HPM and numerical method reveal that HPM has good agreement. Effect of active parameters on flow, heat and mass transfer is presented. Results show that Nusselt number increase with increase of Prandtl number and Eckert number but it decreases with increase of squeeze number. Also it can be found that Sherwood number increases as Schmidt number and chemical reaction parameter increase.
