Abstract
In recent years, high-flow nasal cannula is a relatively new type of oxygen therapy. It can not only regulate the constant oxygen concentration, provide low level positive airway pressure, reduce the dead cavity of nasopharynx, fully heat and humidified gas, but also can improve the airway mucosal clearance function and the comfort level of patients, so it has gained a good reputation among the medical staff. This article summarized the application of high-flow nasal cannula in patients with critical respiratory disease, and we hope that this article will be helpful for our colleagues.
