Abstract

Goniotomy assisted transluminal trabeculotomy (GATT) is a kind of ab interno angle procedure. GATT spares conjunctiva and sclera, so it is a real mini invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). MIGS techniques are typically used in cases of early and moderate open angle glaucoma. The aim is to present the possibility of GATT application in the selected types of refractory glaucoma or secondary open angle glaucoma which are believed to be difficult in management. The results of GATT application in refractory glaucoma, inflammatory glaucoma and silicon oil glaucoma will be presented with the evaluation of IOP lowering potential in short term observation. Additionally, selected clinical cases will be showed.
