Abstract

A recently conducted analysis in the framework of Transmission-Line Super Theory (TLST) led to new formulations for the reflection and transmission coefficients of inhomogeneous transmission lines at high frequencies. In this paper, these results are used and applied for the first time on practical non-uniform conductor configurations. The results obtained agree excellently with the exact TLST solutions, although the new expressions contain a certain approximation: the radiation phenomena are only considered within the individual inhomogeneous parts of the lines
