Abstract

Objective To evaluate the role of GasMan@ software computer assisted in the theoretical study of inhaled anesthetics. Methods Ninty-six trainees were randomly divided into test group(group S) and control group(group C), with 48 persons in each group. All the persons underwent anesthesia theory test 1 and recorded test scores; After 6 inhalation anesthesia teaching, GasMan@software computer assisted was teached in group S while self-study inhalation anesthesia reference in group C. Results there was no statistically significant difference between group S and group C in test 1. Compared with group C, the scored of test 2 in group S was significantly increased. 100% of the persons believe that the teaching of combining GasMan@computer assisted was more beneficial than pure theory, which can improve the interest of classroom study. 80%(38/48) persons believed that GasMan@software was easy to master, 96%(46/48) persons expressed interest in this learning method, willing to participate in the study, 90%(43/48) persons thinked it was necessary to develop this kind of teaching activities in the medical center. Conclusions compared with the traditional teaching, application GasMan@software computer assisted teaching can improve the teaching effect of inhaled anesthesia.
