Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of fast tract surgery used in perioperative nursing care for patients with laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. Methods All patients selected in our hospital during the period of Jan. to Dec. 2016 undergoing laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy were analyzed. All cases were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group was treated with fast track surgery nursing care, while the control group received routine nursing care. The general situation, rehabilitation related indicators and nursing satisfaction were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results The average age, body mass index abdominal operation history, operation time, the amount of bleeding and the proportion of cyst types in the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). The average length of stay[(2.5 ± 0.9) d vs (4.5 ± 1.7)d], the cost of diagnosis and treatment [(8 254.2 ± 762.9)yuan vs (10 265.8 ± 1 253.3)yuan]and the time of postoperative exhaust[(17.1 ± 5.3) h vs (29.5 ± 10.6 )h)] in the observation group were less than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of the observation group(91.7%) was higher than that of the control group(74.0%), the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Fast track surgery nursing care can speed up the rehabilitation of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, improve the patient's medical experience and shorten the average length of stay.
