Abstract

Objective: Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is a theory that is developing rapidly in recent years. The objective of EBM theory is that virtually all medical and clinical decisions, ranging through etiology, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, medical economics, education and administration, should be based on the most current and reliable results of medical and clinical research. The generation of EBM is being viewed as an important milestone in the history of clinical medicine [1]. The objective of this abstract is to illustrate an application of EBM principles in diagnosis and treatment of patients with endometriosis.
