Abstract
The analysis of the main energy storage systems that can be used by traders to improve their work in the electricity market in Ukraine was carried out in this paper. The features of the energy storage systems operation in the conditions of the Ukrainian electricity market are considered. The criterion of economic efficiency of using energy storage systems for the traders work in the electric energy market has been developed. The most effective energy storage systems for the traders work in the new liberalized market of electric energy in Ukraine are determined using the proposed criterion.
