Abstract

The paper presents the results of traditional electron beam diagnostics application for a comprehensive analysis of little-studied processes occurring in rarefied clustered gas jets. Using photo-visualization and spectroscopy methods, the effects of broadening and distortion of the isentropicity of a supersonic outflow during the development of the condensation process in a flow have been demonstrated. The features of the anomalous afterglow of an external stream of clusters upon excitation of particles by an electric discharge have also been described.
