Abstract
The main objective of the work was the development of a distribution system for thermal engines, electrically actuated and electronically controlled, aimed to replace the classical system with cam-follower mechanism. The work consisted of design, modeling and simulation of an electromagnetic actuator, able to drive a valve with certain dynamic performances, within the desired stroke and development of an experimental system including electronic control and correspondent software.
