Abstract
AbstractExploration geophysics is a branch of geophysics, which deals with physical methods on the surface of earth to determine physical properties of the subsurface along with the something that deviates from what is standard, normal or expected, in those properties. Geophysical methods contain seismic, magnetic, electromagnetic, gravitational and electrical methods. This paper describes about electrical resistivity method. When precise construction is to be executed, soil investigation for knowing geology of the area is done in by using geophysical methods. Basically, in this method, there is determination of nature subsurface strata without excavation we can determine the nature of subsurface using geophysical methods.
