Abstract

The application of decision tree in student information management system is a method of data mining using decision process. Decision trees are used to classify and predict the results of events using a set of rules or patterns. Using this technique, you can extract certain features from the data and then predict how each feature will affect the results. This technique is very useful for predicting future events based on past experience. Student information management system covers a wide range, including educational administration management system, financial system, teaching arrangement system, performance management system and other subsystems. These subsystems are managed by different institutions of the school. The system is relatively independent, and the information resources cannot be shared, resulting in confusion in management and waste of resources due to insufficient utilization of information. From school departments, information management systems also need to have certain decision-making functions to help leaders and teachers complete their daily decision-making functions. Therefore, should establish a scientific and perfect student information management system, and apply advanced data mining technology to the existing student information management system to make up for its shortcomings. In today’s severe employment situation, it is of great significance to rely on data mining technology, make use of existing data resources, comprehensively analyze the employment results, find out the internal relationship between College Students' own quality and enterprise needs and college courses, and then provide targeted guidance for students.
