Abstract

In this paper, we have used a popular metaheuristic algorithm called the the Crow Search Algorithm (CSA) to solve the discrete optimal control problem with constraints. The main intention of this paper is to discretize the problem using the forward Euler method from which the performance index is considered. The problem formulation and the comparison of the proposed technique with different metaheuristic algorithms such as; Differential Evolution Algorithm (DE), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO), is the main highlight of the paper. The performance index of these metaheuristics problems is compared with the propose approach and the Crow search algorithm has shown impressive results.
