Abstract

Summary A number of patients with a spectrum of post-traumatic orbital deformities are presented in whom the application of basic craniofacial surgical principles aided in the correction of enophthalmos, exophthalmos, canthal and orbital dystopias, eyelid deformities, and lacrimal obstruction. Improved exposure and reconstructive possibilities in the treatment of orbital tumours has been another “spin-off” of craniofacial surgery.
