Abstract

Under the influence of corpus linguistics and corpus technology progressive, as the center of research methods and research areas of Linguistics, the application of corpus linguistics is popularized. Therefore, this paper describes the concept, the real meaning and application of corpus linguistics in Chinese teaching. 1. Overview of Corpus Linguistics 1.1 Word retrieval and Corpora Analysis which is based on corpus as a prerequisite for language, the first is to understand the meaning of word retrieval and corpus. Corpus called library material or language, belonging to the language storage warehouse. Corpus belongs to collection and reasonable organization of language materials database, this material appears in a language which can be oral or written. This series is not processed material, which is a prerequisite for statistical language, and it is also the primary information of language teaching, natural languages through computer processing, the compilation of dictionaries, and the exploration of the language. At present, some large-scale corpus appear in the world. In addition, because of the falling cost of hard disk storage data and the rapid development of computer technology, inquirers themselves also gradually create the small corpus consistent with themselves. Retrieving words belong to software development project, of which the corpus is inquired and the result is listed. Automatic retrieval system is the source of corpus charm. Through automated retrieval systems, information processing power of computers, and computing power, linguists can quickly find examples, which explore the text. It is the development and improvement of the retrieval system that effectively reflects the useful value of corpus. On the basis of the actual usage of the study of language, we can find the application modes of the original language, which is the core essence of corpus linguistics, corpus as a precondition for exploring language, the purpose is not to generate theory of language, nor is it to reflect choices of people making. It attaches to the only language that is in front of us and by experiment or observation, and is based on the usage patterns of the data. 1.2 Variation of register Register is an aspect of the application of language, which doesn’t pay enough attention tone aspect, there is no research data, so it is difficult to understand language. Occasions applied a number of variant covers in the same register. The language can be divided into a series of registers, from the usual to the specific height, and combine the specificity achieved to decide. Register usually covers newspapers, essays, novels and so on, and specific register covers linguistics research, literature reviews, research papers and other small register. The reflection of corpus studies, because of differences in register, there are also differences in reflecting activities of language, each register has a certain special rules and patterns. The authors Published by Atlantis Press 185 1.3 The real meaning of corpus linguistics Textual corpus as a precondition of Corpus Linguistics is an interdisciplinary analysis of language, which are an integral part of computer linguistics. Corpus linguistics has two meanings: on the one hand, which uses corpus analysis of a number of aspects of the language, which means that corpus of language students is not a new subject, but merely reflects a new way of analyzing. on the other hand, criticism inherent linguistic fact embodied in the corpus linguistics, and published new theories and observations. Only in this way, we can say that the corpus linguistics is a new discipline. Combined with the inherent in literature, analysis of the latter is very rare. For this reason, strictly speaking, currently it cannot deals with a par that corpus linguistics, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and linguistics. Corpus Linguistics provides anecdotes, introspection, intuition, more objective language. Corpus as a prerequisite for research to analyze and investigate all of the language patterns, like shape, voice, words, vocabulary, grammar, structure, vocabulary, etc, generally through the very detailed level of exploration and discovery. By means of appropriate inquiry, investigators cannot only cognitive language model, also be able to get the context of variable elements and their application areas. 2. Application of corpus linguistics in Chinese teaching 2.1 Design the syllabus Syllabus can make teachers focus on teaching students' knowledge combined organic requirements. For formulation and selection course planning, it is meaningful to have register and the frequency distribution, in exploring a specific corpus of knowledge about teaching, teachers are able to determine about the teaching knowledge of target register, and then worked out the syllabus with the teaching needs to adapt. 2.2 Selection and preparation of teaching materials For the success of the teaching, a good textbook often plays a very important role. For example, for the preparation and selection of words, the inherent syllabus requires students to learn a lot of words, which requires all of the words on the cover in the preparation of textbooks when teaching materials should be scientific organization, be sure to program all the words on the cover, and teaching materials should also ensure that word in scientifically high repetition rate from interval, so that students can actually learn and understand words. And this series of organizations can through corpus of relevant software. At the same time, under the support and guide of corpus, teaching material's researchers were able to create training subject which is based on the real example, it created the chance for students to explore the application of language. 2.3 The classroom teaching activities In the process of Chinese teaching, teachers can require students to explore the language through carefully selected corpus and search tool, some of which explore the language law, teachers need to give adequate guidance and help. Teachers can inspire students to complete a series of predefined research, in order to achieve the desired results. Or teachers can ask students to independently realize, of course, students get the results which might not be ideal, but such a practice can gradually develop student’s linguistic skills, and promote the enhancement of students ' autonomous learning ability. Improve students' independent learning skills. Independent study not only allows the classrooms to depth and perfection, and mobilizes the students' enthusiasm and interest in learning to develop students' thinking, which is very helpful for the students' independent analysis and improvement of problem-solving skills.
