Abstract

The paper introduces conformable fractional analogs of some basic concepts related to probability distributions of random variables, namely density, cumulative distribution, survival, and hazard functions. Moreover, it introduces conformable fractional analogs to expected values, rth moments, rth central moments, mean, variance, skewness, and kurtosis. In addition, it introduces conformable fractional analogs to some entropy measures, namely, Shannon, Renyi, and Tsallis entropy. All these concepts had been applied to the conformable fractional Nakagami probability distribution (Abu Hammad et al (2020) J Math Comput Sci 1239–1250; Gaeddert and Annamalai (2005) IEEE 9:22–24).
