Abstract

Objective To explore the application of comprehensive nursing intervention on locking plate internal fixation to cure elderly intertrochanter fracture of femurand its clinical efficacy.Methods Eighty elderly participated during the period of October 2011 to October 2012 and had been divided into two groups randomly on average:experimental group and control group.The control group was given routine care while the experimental group accepted comprehensive nursing intervention, and then we compared two group ’ s clinical efficacy and nursing satisfaction.Results The percent of goodrate were 90.0%for clinical efficacy and 95.0%for nursing satisfaction in the experimental group, which were higher than the control group; and the postoperative complications were 12.5%, less than the control group, the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =4.02,4.59,5.16, respectively;P〈0.05).Conclusions Perioperative period comprehensive nursing intervention can contribute clinical efficacy and nursing satisfaction and decrease complications during period of elderly utilized locking plate internalfixation.
