Application of Clinical Nursing Pathway in Health Education of Patients with Bronchial Asthma

Abstract

Objective To observe effect of clinical nursing pathway in health education of patients with bronchial asthma.Methods A total of 60 patients with bronchial asthma in our department from 2012 February to October were randomly divided into therapy group and control group.Patients in therapy group were given clinical nursing pathway,while patients in control group received traditional health education respectively.Lengths of stay,grasping rates of health knowledge and satisfaction rates of the two groups were compared.Results Lengths of stay in therapy group was shorter than that in control group(P0.05),and grasping rate of health knowledge,satisfaction rate and qualification rate in therapy group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Clinical nursing pathway in health education of patients with bronchial asthma may improve the quality of health education,nurses′ ability and nurse-patient relationship.
