Abstract

Ceramic coatings are effectively utilized in mechanical industry for their attention-grabbing properties, like good corrosion and wear resistance, hardness, high temperature-strength, and thermal stability. Thermal spray WC coating method was used as a effective method to produce ceramic coating, especially to reduce the wear rate in fracturing fluids usage. The most important operating parameters are applied pressure, sliding speed, coating thickness and bio lubricant. Regression models were developed by using central composite design (CCD) in response surface method (RSM) to predict the response variables. The mechanical properties, such as coefficient of friction, wear rate and mass loss were considered as responses variables.
